Partner with the Program

As we look toward next season, our student-athletes, coaches and supporters, like you, share a strong desire to compete at the highest level and find success on the field and beyond.

But even as we strive to do well in the short term, our focus is always on the future. We can create the greatest impact—for future student-athletes, for our campus, for our community—by building and sustaining our culture of success over the long term.

To support this long-term vision, we are seeking partners—dedicated alumni and supporters who can help build a $5M endowment fund for the Ravens Football program.

We are in a great starting position thanks to the generosity of John Ruddy, a long-time Carleton donor and Old Crow. He has contributed $1M in funding to launch the John Ruddy Endowment Fund in support of Ravens Football. Named in recognition of his generosity, this fund's goal is to reach $5M in donations within the next three years to support the long-term sustainability of the team.

You can join Mr. Ruddy’s efforts with a minimum $25,000 contribution, which ensures the probability of program and personal development for many years to come. With a two-to-one one matching opportunity, investments in the endowment fund will quickly build a sustainable solution.

“I was proud to be the lead donor and see the return of football to Carleton in 2013. As a player or a fan, the football games provide an opportunity for all students to become casually involved in athletics, and for the student community to feel united and proudly promote the spirit of Carleton University. I had this experience during my time at Carleton, and I’m proud to see that another generation of students have this experience as well.”
